Our organization emerged after a group of over 700 Oklahomans from 7 major sectors, accomplished an evaluation of the statewide COVID emergency response from a public health perspective.The findings were clear in that public health in Oklahoma needed to be re-shaped in order to achieve our vision: a state of health. Our small team within The Center For Public Health Practice is operationalizing the experiences and key lessons of our partners by equipping leaders to establish and bolster thriving communities of public health practice.
